Ever wanted to start shooting competitively, but had no idea where to start? Well here you go! Broken Arrow Firearms Training has partnered with Pro shooter Jacob Wedge to offer our new
Intro to Competative Shooting Class.
This 8 hour 300 rd. class will introduce students to the foundations of competative shooting laying the ground work or a solid foundation in shooting sports. Topics covered will include range rules and commands, grip, stance, movement, shooting positions, how and why competative shooters shoot the way they do and an intro into shooting different competition courses of fire.
Instructor Jacob Wedge has¬†worked in many areas of Law Enforcement from 911 dispatch, to police, and corrections where he was a firearms instructor and member of the agency’s Emergency Response Team. Jake is also an avid hunter, Certified GLOCK factory armorer, Remington 870 armorer, and competitive shooter. He competes mainly in the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) and holds a MASTER classification, but also competes in many other competitions around the United States, such as 3 Gun, USPSA, and Steel Challenge.
What To Bring
Eye and ear protection
Pistol
3 magazines
Holster and mag carriers.
300-350 rounds of ammo.
Cooler with water & lunch (1 hr. lunch between morning and afternoon sessions)
Note pad and pencil
